Postdoctoral
We are currently seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows interested in working at the frontiers of bioelectrics and bioelectronics research. Potential projects include the application of pulsed electric fields with in vitro and in vivo and the development of organic electronic devices for cancer therapeutics. Applicants with prior experience in either bioelectronics, live-cell imaging, intravital microscopy, or in vivo multiphoton microscopy are encouraged to apply. Masters and PhD students
Our lab is always looking for enthusiastic students interested in obtaining masters or doctoral research training in bioelectrics, bioelectronics, cellular physiology and biophotonics. Current projects include the development of organic electronic devices for cancer, the application of pulsed electric fields for therapeutics, bioelectric aspects of cancer using live-cell imaging of cell physiology with manipulations of membrane potential using light and optogenetics tools. Other potential projects include the influence of pulsed electric fields on cell signalling. Applicants with a strong undergraduate education in biophysics, neuroscience or biomedical engineering are well suited to these projects; however, students with other backgrounds and an interest in multidisciplinary research or computational simulations at the cellular level in bioelectrics are encouraged to apply.  Please email inquiries with a CV and a brief statement of research interests.
